Pakistan Earthquake Reconstruction and Rehabilitation Program (PERRP) United State Agency for International Development (USAID)

In October 2005, a 7.6 magnitude earthquake hit northern Pakistan, claiming more than 73,000 lives; injuring more than 128,000 people; and leaving millions homeless and without schools, health clinics and shops. For the US Agency for International Development (USAID), CDM in association with MM Pakistan (Pvt) Ltd. is implementing a 5 year, $ 120 million design-build contract to reconstruct schools and health clinics, including hospitals, in the earthquake-affected areas of the Northwest Frontier Province and Azad Jammu Kashmir.

The project will be a mixed-use development, which will contain multiple functions The MMP’s role is as “Pre-Audit Consultants” in this project of very nature. The Pre-Audit Consultant shall perform due diligence and pre-audit on all cost estimates received from various Design Consultants engaged by EOBI through PRIMACO working on their hotel and mixed use development to provide their opinion of the reasonableness of the estimates.
